The word Reiki is translated as Universal Life Force or God Energy. In Chinese “ki” is “chi”, in Sanskrit “prana”. Reiki means both life energy within the body and Universal energy. When our life force energy is low we are much more prone to dis-ease.
Reiki is extremely effective at stress reduction and relaxation. It also promotes healing as well as soothing the spirit.
